Course Description
The Kaigo (Caregiving) Japanese class is specifically designed for individuals aspiring to work in Japanese nursing homes or elderly care facilities, focusing on the effective communication skills required for both physical and emotional care. This course emphasizes the use of polite Japanese (Keigo) and specialized caregiving vocabulary used during daily activities, such as assisting with meals, bathing, and mobility. Additionally, students will learn about the core values of the Japanese caregiving industry, including Safe Care (Anzen) and Human Dignity (Sontoku).
